The zip wire/aerial runway is now installed and will be launched at the Open Day on 30th August (11am - 4pm) - come along for a shot!

We are drilling for ~~Oil~~ Water!

Boring a well for our new water supply commenced at the end of May – thanks to a most generous gift aided donation of £10k from one of our supporters. The next stage is testing for flow and quality. This stage can take a number of weeks, and the results will determine the nature of the treatment and pumping installation required. Until the testing is complete it is hard to predict final costs accurately, but the indications are that a further £15k will be needed.

Historically our water has come from a mountain stream. We test it regularly for purity and with ever tightening legislation it is sometimes necessary for bottled water to be used for drinking. Our catchment dam needs upgraded and with greater water usage with increased facilities it makes sense to drill into the plentiful underground supplies in the Shee valley.

Building Development Work (Jan/ Feb 2008)

We were delighted to receive a grant from “youth link” Scotland recently for £59,000. This has gone towards the refurbishment of the centre, enabling us to increase our shower capacity and replace the existing windows. All went to schedule, and a great "thank you" to those who prayed and to those who worked on the project. The centre is now as warm as toast, looking fantastic and is full of noisy, joyful youngsters! Do come up and see us - we really look forward to seeing you! You can see all the photos here.

New Activities!

Why not have an adventure party at Compass or bring a group for the day. Ideal for birthday parties…. Great new indoor climbing wall….kayaking, archery, sports hall, raft building, climbing and abseiling, gorge walking….and so much more!
