Accommodation

At Compass, we offer a choice of options on accommodation. For large youth or church groups we have the Main House, an old shooting lodge, which can sleep, and cater for, up to 56 people at a time. For more details click here.

We also have four individual, self-catering apartments in the converted Coach House which are of an excellent standard - our self-contained flat is rated 2-star by the Scottish Tourist Board and we have three bedsit style units on the ground floor. Larger groups staying in the main building can use this as overflow accommodation. For more details click here.

Flexible options for bigger groups/schools

It is possible for larger groups to use our Coach House for overflow accommodation. The coach house is only 60m from the main house and directly opposite the sports hall so is very much part of the site.

· Schools with double stream or composite classes can bring up to 56 pupils taking over the complete site.

· Two schools can be accommodated alongside each other. Why not consider teaming up with a local school, travelling together to share costs and preparing P7 pupils for the transition to secondary?

With bigger numbers look at our Fast Start option, arriving mid morning for inductions and getting the activity programme rolling after lunch. (Fast Start is an additional cost per person.)

Special needs?

We’re very keen to make Compass as accessible as possible to children & adults. If one of your pupils has special needs and requires a carer, we’ll accommodate the carer free of charge regardless of other staff: pupil ratios (please contact us for details).
