Guest Service Team

The role involves working in the kitchen, preparing and clearing away meals, alongside our cooks, and working in the house to ensure that everything is clean and welcoming for the guests. Food hygiene certificate preferable. There is also the opportunity to get involved with the "Thought for Life" programme, the formal presentation of the Christian faith that is presented to all guests. In addition you get the opportunity to join the instructors one day a week and join the guests with their activities.

General Conditions

Full-time Compass staff worker - 5 days per week and receive two days off per week, consecutive where possible. Hours average out over the season at 40/week for unpromoted staff and 45 or 48/week for promoted staff.

Accommodation is provided on site when possible. Currently this would only be for single staff though we do have foundations laid for further staff housing suitable for married couples or families.

Staff have 28 days holiday per year.

Essential requirements for staff members are enthusiasm, energy, passionate about their faith, a heart for mission and a sense of fun!
